Inn Simulator DevLog 8


The Ability to restock your Inn has now been added. Right now it's just a panel where you can... let's say do some "Online Shopping", and everything is instantly delivered. But I'm implementing wandering merchants and/or the possibility of going to the Market to restock your pantries, and with this, bringing delivery times into play so you will have to plan ahead if you'd like your items delivered on time. But I would still like a bit more brainstorming on how to implement them, so for now online shopping it is.

I'm also adding some basic animations to our patrons, and different looks, so we don't serve the same guy all the time. This will eventually open the way for repeat customers and to get to know the inhabitants of this world better. In the future, this will develop into also getting to know their stories, and unlocking bits of the narrative.

The goal for this Friaday update release is to just have a small tutorial area, and then an infinite replayability level. Once this is achieved I will start by tidying up the current mechanics before adding new ones, just so I can keep this as clean as possible, especially code-wise since the more mechanics I add the more spaghetti it tends to become, so if everything is nice and tidy every once in a while bug fixing and even adding new mechanics should come much easier.
