So as a small Halloween update, here is the current build of the game. I've been testing it as extensivly as I can and have fixed a few things since last build. This version still has no narrative in it, and so it is really just an unpdate on what was previously already in the game. Some mechanics have been changed a bit, but over all remain mostly the same.

There are still plenty I would like to add, like some cooking minigames, animations and such, but for now i will have to hold off on them for a while. Despite the slowness of my progress, I still feel that this project shows potential, and with a little more work it can become a fun game to play and explore. 

And beause this is the Halloween update, there's some new recipes for you to try out! Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think about it.

Here's some of the fixes I've been working on (not in any particular order):

Stuff fixed:

-Amount of stuff NPCs ordered (they would take too much time and stay forever)

- Moved some of the balcony vines to clean visibility

- we could clean the tables even when there was no dirt on them

- square table candles were off centered (hanging in the air)

-finances profit values were summing up wrong

- we could give orders again to NPC, even if they already had their order

- NPc could acept their order even when not siting (the animation still makes it seem like they do, but code wise they dont)

- if there was no space in the Inn the NPC would leave, while still saying his order. Now he will say the reason for leaving

- some items had their rotation wrong when being dropped on tables

- the patience timer for waiting to get their food would show while the npc was still walking to his seat. Now it waits for him to be sitting

-we could clean up the tables while holding things

- NPC are choosing seats in order. make them random to look more natural

- When plates are thrown outside(where theres no floor) they pass through the greybox mat (mugs dont seem to do this) (we can no longer throw stuff)


Not Fixed Yet:

- NPC sleeping position and animation is off centered and backwards

- NPC siting position and animation is off centered (and sometimes backwards)

- NPC animations, will not wait to finish before moving the NPC (ex: he will be moving while doing the getting up animation)

- NPC can use dirty beds and tables

- NPC need to get to the counter on a first come first serve basis, to avoid line cutting, or "Empty" line spaces, while waiting for them to move to place

- We can interact with items/NPC even through walls/floors


Need to add:

- NPC eating/drinking/talking/etc animations

- Add UI about room service, dirty tables, open orders

- Add UI about how many rooms are still free. how many patrons currently in the Inn?

- Add vegetable cutting task

- Show active orders, while cooking (so we know what to do)

- Cooking mini game (replace timer)

- bulk cooking? (still not sure on this one)

- drinks mini game (replace timer)

- cleaning mini game (replace timer)

- room renting mini game

- Dialogue

- Market and wandering merchant

- tavern dirtiness

- level up

- workers

- etc
