Inn Simulator DevLog 2


In the past weeks I've been working on the first interactions on the inside of the Inn/Tavern.

Ive been trying to make a playable character in a 1st person view, that will work as our innkeeper, and will be the one taking in customers orders and fulfilling all their needs.

I've also been working on the NPCs, and the first iteration I have already made is a basic AI with 3 needs, Hunger, Thirst and Tiredness. Once he spawns, those 3 needs will start with random values, determining what the NPC will order. Either food, drinks, or a room to spend the night.

They also have a patience meter, and once that runs out they will leave. If the needs that they need feeling is fulfilled in time thought it will restart, until the next need is met, or they leave the Inn satisfied.

The Inn keeper can also pick up mugs, plates, and fill them with food or drinks. for testing purposes he can also consume them (not very good if you want to sell them XD) so that after being consumed he can wash the dishes so we can go back to having clean ones.
